Restore Participation in America
We can be busy with work, family and other pursuits. In the meantime, we may not be running our country! If we don't, who will? Millions of Americans have died in the last 230 years to give us the power to run our own government. It's up to us to actually do it. We can't put our government on automatic pilot and assume it will take care of itself. Last summer, the Iosco County Democratic Party formed a group we call the "RESTORE AMERICA" Committee. We publish ads in the local paper to tell our fellow citizens what is going on as we see it. We hope to get people thinking and talking about what is really happening in our country and our world. Has the running of our country been taken over by huge corporations, religious extremists, and world empire builders? We urge you to become aware of the damage done to our society and our government when citizens do not participate. Then get involved in taking our government back for "WE, THE PEOPLE."
