God and Country
Most of us have deep feelings
about both God and Country. We Democrats strongly agree, as did
President John F. Kennedy, to our Constitution's demand they be kept
separate. Our founding fathers saw this separation as very
important.
It is obvious that, in countries where government starts taking over religion, religion suffers. Where religion takes over government, government suffers -- often by massive violence as now in the Middle East, India, and Indonesia. Join us. |
